Last night I bowled a 300! But before you congratulate me, let me just tell you, it was 9 pin no tap. But to my defense most of the strikes were real ones! lol

Anyway, it still felt good! I'm still proud of it!  Maybe one day I will bowl one for real! lol

With this league my average is up to almost 200! Love it!

Well, I was in a slump, having problems with my thumb hole. So I took my balls to my local pro shop and he said it was a wonder I was even bowling with them.  He re-did the thumb holes giving them an oval insert, and replaced the fingertip inserts on one.  Now I have went from bowling in the 140's to bowling in the 180-200's.  Unbelieveable!!!  Bowling is fun again and with no pain with my thumb.  I had never heard or seen a oval insert before, but it sure works. Gives me more lift on the release too.  I love it.  I am going to take some bowling lessons within the next month.  I'm going to be a force to reckon with time it's all over! lol

Okay, I have officially entered my first competition.  A women's tournament the end of feb. I am alittle nervous about it, so I am going to practice my ass off so I will do as good as I possibly can.  I was asked to do this by some of my fellow team mates from my league. I felt honored. I have entered in two catagories, team and doubles.  I've never done this before...so we'll see.

I just love this sport. My all time dream would be a 300 game. If I ever reach that goal I would die a happy woman-isn't that sad. lol I just have dreams of bowling in tournaments and bowling in the 200's as a normal thing. Wearing a shirt adorned with patches and wearing a 300 ring. As long as my game continues to improve I see no reason why I can't reach my goal. I'm bowling in a great league now that takes this bowling pretty serious and they try and help if you ask for it. I'm bowling on a team with 3 other bowlers that are "seasoned" bowlers. The've been bowling all their lives, and that's the people I like to be around. I can learn so much by listening and watching. And they do it and have fun. So I guess you could say I'm a bowling geek. And I'm proud of it! lol
